BASIC FAT BURNING SOUP

1 OR 2 LARGE CANS CRUSHED TOMATOES
6 LARGE GREEN ONIONS (CHOPPED) * see note
1 LARGE CAN BEEF BROTH * see note
1 PKG. VEGETABLE SOUP MIX (DRY)
1 BUNCH CELERY
2 CANS GREEN BEANS
2 GREEN PEPPERS
2 LBS. CARROTS

SEASON WITH SALT, PEPPER, CURRY OR PARSLEY OR BOUILLON OR HOT SAUCE. CUT VEGGIES IN SMALL TO MEDIUM PIECES, COVER WITH WATER. BOIL FAST FOR 10 MINUTES. REDUCE TO SIMMER AND CONTINUE COOKING UNTIL VEGGIES ARE TENDER.

(* NOTE: June and Joe have augmented this soup slightly. Season only with granulated garlic, oregano (‘grind’ flakes in the palm of one hand with the other hand), marjoram (‘grind’) and cayenne pepper) Substitute yellow onions for green onions and beef concentrate for bouillon and beef broth.)

THIS SOUP CAN BE EATEN ANYTIME YOU ARE HUNGRY. EAT AS MUCH AS YOU WANT, WHENEVER YOU WANT. THIS SOUP WILL NOT ADD CALORIES! THE MORE YOU EAT, THE MORE YOU WILL LOSE. FILL A THERMOS IN THE MORNING IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE GONE DURING THE DAY.

FOR DRINKS: UNSWEETENED JUICES, TEA, COFFEE, CRANBERRY JUICE OR WATER, WATER, WATER, WATER!!!!

WARNING:  IF EATEN ALONE FOR INDEFINITE PERIODS

OF TIME, YOU WILL SUFFER MALNUTRITION!

 DAY ONE: ANY FRUIT, EXCEPT BANANAS: CANTALOUPE AND WATERMELON ARE LOWER IN CALORIES THAN MOST OTHER FRUITS. EAT ONLY SOUP AND FRUIT TODAY!

 DAY TWO:  ALL VEGETABLES: EAT UNTIL YOU ARE STUFFED WITH ALL THE FRESH, RAW, OR CANNED VEGGIES. TRY TO EAT GREEN LEAFY VEGGIES AND STAY AWAY FROM DRY BEANS, PEAS, OR CORN. EAT VEGGIES ALONG WITH THE SOUP. AT DINNER TIME TONIGHT, REWARD YOURSELF WITH A BIG BAKED POTATO AND BUTTER!!!  DON’T EAT ANY FRUITS THOUGH!

 DAY THREE:  EAT ALL THE SOUP, FRUIT, AND VEGGIES YOU WANT. DO NOT HAVE THE BAKED POTATO TODAY!

IF YOU HAVE EATEN AS ABOVE FOR THE THREE DAYS AND NOT CHEATED, YOU SHOULD HAVE LOST 5-7 POUNDS.

 DAY FOUR:  BANANAS AND SKIM MILK:  EAT AT LEAST 3 BANANAS AND DRINK AS MUCH MILK AS YOU CAN TODAY, ALONG WITH THE SOUP. BANANAS ARE HIGH IN CALORIES AND CARBS, AS IS THE MILK, BUT YOU WILL NEED THE POTASSIUM AND CARBS TODAY.

 DAY FIVE:  BEEF OR CHICKEN AND TOMATOES:  YOU MAY HAVE 10 TO 20 OUNCES OF BEEF AND A CAN OF TOMATOES OR AS MANY AS 6 TOMATOES ON THIS DAY. EAT THE SOUP AT LEAST ONCE THIS DAY!

DAY SIX:  BEEF OR CHICKEN AND VEGGIES:  EAT TO YOUR HEART’S CONTENT OF THE BEEF AND VEGGIES TODAY. YOU CAN EVEN HAVE 2-3 STEAKS IF YOU LIKE, WITH GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES. NO BAKED POTATO! BE SURE TO EAT THE SOUP AT LEAST ONCE TODAY!

 DAY SEVEN:  BROWN RICE, UNSWEETENED FRUIT JUICE AND VEGGIES. AGAIN BE SURE TO STUFF YOURSELF AND EAT THE SOUP!

BY THE END OF THE 7TH DAY, IF YOU HAVE NOT CHEATED ON THIS DIET, YOU SHOULD HAVE LOST 10-17 POUNDS.  IF YOU HAVE LOST MORE THAN 15 POUNDS, STAY OFF THE DIET FOR 2 DAYS BEFORE RESUMING IT AGAIN (ON DAY ONE).

 THIS 7-DAY EATING PLAN CAN BE USED AS OFTEN AS YOU LIKE. IF CORRECTLY FOLLOWED, IT WILL CLEAR YOUR SYSTEM OF IMPURITIES AND GIVE YOU A FELLING OF WELL BEING AS NEVER BEFORE.  AFTER ONLY 7 DAYS OF THIS PROCESS, YOU WILL BEGIN TO FEEL LIGHTER BY AT LEAST 10 AND POSSIBLY 17 POUNDS. YOU WILL HAVE AN ABUNDANCE OF ENERGY. CONTINUE ON THIS PLAN AS LONG AS YOU LIKE.

  THIS DIET IS A FAST, AND FAT BURNING, AND THE SECRET IS THAT YOU WILL BURN MORE CALORIES THAN YOU TAKE IN.  IT WILL FLUSH YOUR SYSTEM OF IMPURITIES AND GIVE YOU A FELLING OF WELL BEING.  NO DRINKING ALCOHOL ON THIS DIET!

 BECAUSE EVERYONE’S DIGESTIVE SYSTEM IS DIFFERENT, THIS DIET WILL AFFECT EVERYONE DIFFERENT. AFTER BEING ON THIS DIET FOR SEVERAL DAYS, YOU WILL FIND THAT YOUR BOWEL MOVEMENTS HAVE CHANGED – EAT A CUP OF BRAN OR FIBER.

 THIS BASIC FAT BURNING SOUP CAN BE EATEN ANY TIME THAT YOU FEEL HUNGRY. EAT AS MUCH AS YOU WISH. REMEMBER THE MORE YOU EAT THE MORE YOU WILL LOSE.  YOU CAN EAT BROILED OR BAKED CHICKEN INSTEAD OF THE BEEF (ABSOLUTELY NO SKIN IN THE CHICKEN).

 ANY OR PRESCRIBED MEDICATION WILL NOT HURT YOU ON THIS DIET.

Use no: 

BREAD, ALCOHOL, CARBONATED BEVERAGES, INCLUDING SOFT DRINKS OF ANY KIND, FRIED FOODS OR OILS!!!!

Use plenty of: 

 DRINK PLENTY OF WATER (AT LEAST 6-8 GLASSES) ALONG WITH ANY COMBINATION OF THE FOLLOWING:  BLACK COFFEE, UNSWEETENED TEA, UNSWEETENED FRUIT DRINKS, CRANBERRY JUICE, AND SKIMMED MILK!

 THE DIET IS FROM THE “SACRED HEART MEMORIAL HOSPITAL”. IT IS USED IN THEIR CARDIAC CARE UNIT FOR OVERWEIGHT HEART PATIENTS TO LOSE WEIGHT PRIOR TO HAVING SURGERY.
